We are a small property with a great ambition: meeting your requirements and making you satisfied with your choice!
“Casa Malvina” is the result of a preservative and skilful refurbishment of a private house of the 50’s, from which we obtained 5 rooms and a welcoming entrance hall where to relax reading a magazine or a book, watch TV, listen to some good music, enjoy conversation with the owner Guglielmo or other guests.
Also available a large parking lot.
Rooms
The 5 rooms (4 doubles and 1 single) on the first floor, are decorated with a sober but elegant style and fitted with all comforts: private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, individual air conditioning and heating, television, direct dial telephone, direct internet access, safety box.
All rooms are NON SMOKING.
Location
Casa Malvina is situated in Mira, along the “Strada Nazionale” connecting the city of Venice with Padua, in the area known as the Brenta Riviera. This is a land of ancient traditions: it is here, along the river Brenta which peacefully flows through a course of unique beauty, that the wealthy Venetian families built the most famous and wonderful villas, once considered summer residences where they spent their time in full tranquillity and relaxation, as described by the well-known Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni in plays like “Le smanie per la villeggiatura” (1761), “Le avventure della villeggiatura” (1761). Here, moments of serene calmness alternate with sumptuous feasts in a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
The Riviera’s great attraction stays the renowned “Burchiello”, a boat with which you can spend unforgettable moments sailing along the waters of the river Brenta, enjoying the view of marvellous villas, and stopping to taste some of the typical dishes in cosy local restaurants.
How to reach us
By car
S.S. 11 from Padua to Mestre-Venice; on the way pass through Mira town centre; 500 m. ahead, on the left hand side is Casa Malvina.
Autostrada A4: take exit “DOLO-MIRANO”. At the first circle, take the second exit indicating Mira. After 3 km, once you get to the main road running along the river Brenta, turn left to reach Mira. Go past 3 traffic lights, and keeping the same main road on your left, after 500 m is Casa Malvina.
S.S. Romea coming from Ravenna: at the circle in Marghera follow the indication to Mira/Riviera del Brenta, keep going for about 6 km and 500 m before the town centre of Mira, on your right hand side is Casa Malvina.
By bus
Mira can be reached by using the ACTV buses leaving every 15-30 minutes from Venice (Piazzale Roma), Mestre (Piazza XXVII Ottobre), Mirano (Via Barche), Padua (bus station, Piazzale Boschetti).
When coming from Venice get off at the bus stop 300 m from the town centre and only 20 m from Casa Malvina.
By train
From railway stations of Padua and Venice take the route Milan-Venice and then get off at Mira-Mirano station.
The route Venice-Adria stops at the stations of Oriago and Mira Buse.
By airplane
Venice Intl airport Marco Polo, 7 km from Mestre.
Transfers can be arranged in advance from and to the airport.
